Un asesinato en la mismísima Casa Blanca. ? Netflix

En este contexto, la detective Cordelia Cupp se asocia con el escéptico agente especial del FBI Edwin Park (Randall Park) para desentra?ar un intrigante (y mortal) misterio cuando aparece el cadáver de A.B. Netflix has debuted the full official trailer for the screwball comedy whodunnit series ‘The Residence.’
The movie is a screwball whodunnit set in the upstairs, downstairs, and backstairs of the White House, among the eclectic staff of the world’s most famous mansion.
Uzo Aduba stars as Cordelia Cupp, a consulting detective for the Metropolitan Police Department. Known for her wry humour, relentless pursuit of truth, and sharp eye for human behaviour, Cupp is the most sought-after detective in the world—and an avid birder to boot.
Joining her is Randall Park as Special Agent Edwin Park of the FBI, who is tasked with partnering with Cupp during a high-stakes State Dinner. While Park harbours scepticism about Cupp’s unconventional methods, their dynamic promises to be as intriguing as the mystery they seek to unravel.

"We are the House. All these other people are not. It's us... versus them." Netflix has revealed a full official trailer for The Residence, a whodunit comedy murder mystery mini-series set at the White House. So who did it? Will she solve the crime? 132 rooms. 157 suspects. 1 dead body. Uzo Aduba stars in The Residence, Shondaland's new, unpredictable whodunnit set right inside The White House. This still seems like Netflix's comedic response to Hulu's Paradise series, also about the President being killed featuring Sterling K. Brown getting wrapped up in conspiracies trying to find out why. But this time it's more of a Knives Out-esque concept than a conspiracy thriller. The ensemble cast includes Aduba as Cordelia Cupp, Giancarlo Esposito, Edwina Findley, Molly Griggs, Jason Lee, Ken Marino, Al Mitchell, Bronson Pinchot, Julieth Restrepo, Mel Rodriguez, Randall Park, Dan Perrault, Susan Kelechi Watson, Isiah Whitlock Jr., & Mary Wiseman. This looks hilarious!

A White House-set whodunnit from Shonda Rhimes? We’re seated.
The latest Netflix series from mega-producer Rhimes is a mix of “Only Murders in the Building” meets “Knives Out,” with Rhimes and executive producing partner Betsy Beers reuniting with “Scandal” alum Paul William Davies to go back to D.C.
The screwball crime comedy stars Uzo Aduba as Metropolitan Police Department consulting detective Cordelia Cupp, who is tasked with solving a murder alongside FBI Special Agent Edwin Park (Randall Park). The duo are billed as a modern-day Sherlock and Watson and ”Odd Couple” team, as Aduba’s Cupp is the most sought-after detective in the world but Park remains skeptical about her unconventional methods.

This spring, Shonda Rhimes is returning to the White House thanks to Netflix’s “The Residence.” And in its first trailer, the Uzo Aduba murder mystery created by Paul William Davies is dropping its first few clues ahead of its March 20 premiere.
When White House Chief Usher A.B. Wynter (Giancarlo Esposito) is found dead, the most powerful institution in America brings in Cordelia Cupp (Aduba), a wildly eccentric detective to solve the case. She will score through 132 rooms and 157 suspects all in the hopes of discovering what actually happened … but the further she dives into this mystery, the more convoluted it becomes.
In the first trailer, it’s revealed on the night of his death, A.B. said, “I am going to be dead by the end of the night.”

There has been a murder at the White House.
In the first teaser trailer for Netflix’s The Residence series released on Thursday, Uzo Aduba stars as a detective Cordelia Cupp who attempts to solve the case of the dead body that was discovered on the third floor of the White House.
“132 rooms. 157 suspects. 1 dead body,” the show warns.
The “screwball whodunnit” features a slew of possible suspects questioned over the dead body that was found during a state dinner. However, will they outsmart Cordelia who, in the trailer, is described as the best detective in the world?
“Mr. President. This house needs to be treated like a crime scene,” Aduba cautions in the trailer. Throughout the teaser, it’s clear chaos is expected to begin as hidden secrets, lingering dangers and political tensions complicate the case with the culprit possibly being a member of the staff or guest.

Jb Smoove is probably best known for playing Larry David’s sidekick/soulmate Leon Black on Curb Your Enthusiasm. But years earlier, the comedian was a writer for Saturday Night Live, where he came up with some gloriously bizarre pitches. For starters, there was the “Urine Detective” sketch, in which host Johnny Knoxville would play a gumshoe who solves crimes by tasting the pee of suspects. It never made it to the air.
Another rejected idea was about a couple that met as military helicopter pilots, but even after settling down and starting a family, they keep constantly screaming because they “can’t get the helicopter out of their systems.” He also pitched a sketch featuring host Tom Brady as “Nick Buttkowski,” the first football player to ever smack his teammate on the ass.

"My Name Is Earl" is one of those sitcoms that remains beloved to a select group of fans but never really caught on in the zeitgeist in a way like "The Office" or "30 Rock" did. It had a great, heartwarming premise of the titular Earl (Jason Lee) wanting to make amends to all the people he's wronged in his troublemaking life. Earl typically hung around an eclectic group of characters to help (or hinder) him along his journey, and there was the potential for the show to make some big waves had it been allowed to continue.
Sadly, "My Name Is Earl" was canceled after four seasons due to negotiation issues between the network and the studio. It was an anticlimactic development, especially seeing as season 4 ended on a cliffhanger with the revelation that Darnell (Eddie Steeples) wasn't the father to Earl Jr.

Robin Williams’ geek credentials were well-known, but the late comedian surprised comic book creator Michael Allred when he wore a Madman T-shirt during his appearance on HBO’s Comic Relief. This appearance cements Williams’ comic book fandom for all time and shows how deep his love for the medium really went.
Posting to Instagram, Allred relates how Williams was a big fan of Allred’s signature character Madman, to the point where he wore a T-shirt of the character during the Comic Relief V benefit show on HBO in 1992.

Several incredible films are challenging to watch nowadays. This can be for a variety of reasons, including issues with licensing or streaming. The best movies of all time rarely have issues such as these, but there are plenty of incredible movies that are still hard to find in the modern day.
Many of the films that are difficult to find, both on streaming or otherwise, are movies with great anti-heroes. Others, like Porgy and Bess, are great romance films. Regardless, the fact that these movies are so hard to find makes the effort worth it, as they are each an important part of movie history in their own right.

Of all the sitcoms that were screwed over by a network, "My Name is Earl" has got to be at the top of the list. The show was basically a cross between the optimism of "The Good Place" and the constant trashiness of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," but whereas "The Good Place" got to end on its own terms and "Always Sunny" got to continue indefinitely, "My Name Is Earl" ended abruptly in season 4.?
It's a shame too, because when most people remember the end of "My Name is Earl," they're usually associating it with the disappointing season 3. That season, which spent most of its first half with Earl stuck in prison and most of its second half with Earl trapped in a coma, is a clear example of the show trying its best to shake up a strained formula and getting too crazy for its own good. Season 4 was a return to form,...

However, like most comics, his fans do not know much about his personal life. With this, many would be surprised to know that the comedian was also a follower of the Church of Scientology. While many would look at this as a bad thing, his perspective on the same showcases exactly why fans love him as much as they do.
