- Tommy Thayer was born on November 7, 1960 in Portland, Oregon, USA. He is an actor and director, known for Detroit Rock City (1999), Kiss: The Second Coming (1998) and Stealing Harvard (2002).
- Was a road crew member for Kiss during the reunited lineup's tours during the late 1990s-early 2000s. Began playing lead guitar for Kiss after Ace Frehley decided not to return to the fold in 2003. Wears Ace Frehley's makeup and costume.
- Played guitar for German female rocker Doro Pesch.
- Before KISS, he was in a KISS-tribute band called "Cold Gin", named after one of KISS' songs as the "Space Ace".
